![]() ![]() While I think that Ojiro and Kirishima are on a similar level, I don’t think he’s anywhere close to Kirishima’s toughest form. All of that goes out the window the second Kirishima brings out Red Riot: Unbreakable. If Sen played his cards right and tried to play keep away, he could wear down Kirishima’s armor enough for a clean shot. He seems to be an overall better hand-to-hand fighter as well, capable of trading blows with someone as skilled as Ojiro while Kirishima is more of a straight-forward brawler. As far as we know, there isn’t any limit on how much he can use “Gyrate”. What’s more is that I think Sen has a reasonable advantage. That being said, since that fight was with Ojiro and it’s been shown that Ojiro and Kirishima can fight on par with each other, you could imply that Kirishima and Sen are on somewhat similar levels. Mostly because Kirishima is a major side character with several showings while Sen only has one fight. Joking aside, this is actually a tough fight to call. Since Kirishima is a rock and drills break rocks, we could easily deduce that Sen would beat Kirishima. My Hero Academia Quirks Snipe Homing Itejiro Toteki Boomerang MHA Meta And since “Homing” seems to be able to target anything in the user’s sight, as Snipe was able to target the ground around Shoji through the smoke during the Final Exam, it could replicate a lot of the utility and control of “Boomerang” by simply being smart with their targets. You can use it on however many projectiles you want, and you don’t need to think about them once they are being used, making it more reliable as a result. Besides the fact that it can work with any projectile the user is handling, thus giving the user better options like stun guns or fire arms, the Quirk is simply easier to use. All that being said, I think I would give it to “Homing”. “Boomerang” seems better as a utility tool, potentially having applications as kind of psudeo-telekinsis power, especially since the Quirk isn’t reliant on the user seeing the projectiles to direct them and can pull off more unique attacks. “Homing” is certainly better in direct combat, giving guaranteed damage to whoever may be within the user’s range. While these Quirks are quite similar in premise, I think they do fulfill some different niches. My Hero Academia Quirks Quirk Marriage Nomu Absorb and Release Rikiya Katsukame Vitality Stealing This heavily relies on others attacking the user and they may end up burning through whatever they took in. Though this does require the user to breathe in whenever they are about to be harmed, requiring good timing on their part and letting others circumvent the Quirk by continuously attacking them, never giving them a chance to breathe. ![]() If nothing else, it can work as a good stalling tactic, exhausting foes’ energy and resources. This gives the user a good Quirk for combat, letting them tank attacks before countering with their own power. The user can take on multiple sources at a time and does not need to use this power all at once. For example, if the user was electrocuted and able to activate the Quirk, their body would become covered in electricity, letting them use electrified punches against their foes or shock someone who tried to hit them. This can be applied to any type of damage made against them, giving them a variety of methods to counter whatever their foes may throw at them. This attack is then applied to the rest of their body, augmenting the user with what would have damaged them. This Emitter type allows the user to inhale an attack made against them, shown by a colorful energy from the point of contact. I’ve actually already done “Flight” and “Springlike Limbs” fairly recently, so I’ll stick with the first one. ![]()
